Will the Antichrist show up in a UFO and present himself as an alien as well as God? This question seems to be circulating more and more with the rapid increase in interest within the extraterrestrial realm. Many years have passed by with no real signs of other life than our own, although much evidence does strongly suggest otherwise. Almost everyone around the world is curious as to whether or not we are alone, and if we are not then when will they show up?
I personally believe there is other life as the Universe contains roughly a hundred trillion galaxies with each containing over a hundred billion stars along with the possibility of each star at least having one planet orbiting it. These calculations along with an infinite God presents the greater chance of other life beyond our own as practically common sense and knowledge.
“For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.” (Matthew 24:24 NKJV).
The fact that the rise of curiosity within the realm of extraterrestrials and a possible visitation in the near future, provides a great standing point for the arrival and presentation of the Antichrist himself. Now this does not mean that the Antichrist will actually be an alien from another planet, but the mimic of arrival could present a great delusion among many, even the elect.
In Biblical prophecy it presents the idea that the Antichrist will first be a political leader with good looks that are a bit different than the typical human, exceptionally strong and smarter than the average human, and an illusionary peace maker and flatterer. Once the temple is built and sacrifices continue as ancient times, the Antichrist is then suppose to go in and halt the sacrifices, present himself as God and set up the abomination of desolation. At this moment it is hard to understand how he will completely deceive the world with just good looks, intelligence, and flattering. There has to be more to the picture than what we read and I believe there is.
“And in his place shall arise a vile person, to whom they will not give the honor of royalty; but he shall come in peaceably, and seize the kingdom by intrigue.” (Daniel 11:21).
Now I am not trying to add to the scriptures by no means, but rather just provide a possible theory of how it may go down. Biblical prophecy can sometimes be tricky and God only provides so much and the rest is up to us, by the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to understand and perceive when the time comes. I believe that God still speaks to His people today and gives some insights as to how things will go down during this time. For an example the mark of the beast and the RFID chip. Before the presentation of technology people were unsure as to how this might go down, but now by the revealing of the Holy Spirit and the technological advancements, we have a better idea.
Back on track here. The great deceiver must present himself in such a way as to deceive most of the world and even the elect to some degree. Now what better way to deceive people than to bring peace and then a little later descend in front of the temple in a giant space craft and present yourself as the creator of all things? Science fiction hoop la you say? The Antichrist is a divine being and of superior intelligence, it is possible, believe me. It is also interesting that in the book of Daniel chapter 9:27 it states he will be on the wing of abominations, indicating a possible source of flight.
“Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; but in the middle of the week he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, even until the consummation, which is determined, is poured out on the desolate.” (Daniel 9:27).
Nearly everyone around the world is awaiting an arrival of either aliens or their religions “messiah.” Buddhist are awaiting their promised one, Muslims are awaiting the 12th Imam, the Jews are awaiting the Messiah, and of course us Christians are awaiting the return of Christ. Not only are the religions of the world awaiting a “savior,” but the world itself as well. The world is in a state of turmoil and much needed reconstruction, which the UN is currently working on, and yet they are even seeking “one” that can save apart from religion.
Now when you read about the return of Christ in scriptures it says that Jesus will return in the clouds and when you think of how great an imitator the devil is, you then get a better picture of how great of a deceiver it might be for him to come down from the clouds in a giant spaceship.
“Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.” (Mark 13:26).
The possibility of such an act from the Antichrist is great and we must recognize this possibility and apply it to our spiritual understanding. When we acknowledge this crazy idea as a possibility and in fact it ends up happening in this fashion, we can then know that it is the deceiver and then spread the truth to the deceived and lost during the last days. Let us be ready for all scenarios and take into account the possibility of the so called impossible. Let us expand our minds into the realm of heaven and stop thinking only with our puny, finite minds. Let us ask the Lord for guidance, wisdom and understanding during these last days to know the truth from the delusion of the devil. God bless!
What is the true meaning of Christmas? This question was not as hard to answer before, but now a days it is quite difficult to pin for most of the world. The meaning of Christmas for many people is the simple fact of spending time with loved ones and opening gifts. As much fun as these things are, they still do not define Christmas. These things are only but byproducts of the true meaning and significance of Christmas.
The meaning of Christmas began around 2,000 years ago in the small town of Bethlehem, Israel in a small stable with a new born baby lying in a manager. No rooms at the surrounding inns and the only somewhat reasonable area being a stable. For most people at this time and even today look at the beginning of this story and setting as nothing too far apart from different. But as soon as you add that the baby in the manage was to be King of all things, then things take a little twist.
This past Sunday I conducted a sermon for our small gathering at a local coffee shop that we call our church. The sermon was on the meaning of Christmas through scripture, both in the new testament story line and old testament prophecy. There has been much speculation concerning the sons of God and who they might have been ranging from fallen angels to the sons of Cain to the idea of aliens. But with all the speculation the answer still seems unclean, that is until one looks further into the scriptures to better understand. A deeper look into the term and verse along with other clues can help reveal the truth of the matter, and the fact that these “sons of God” were not just mere men, but much more.
“There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.” (Genesis 6:4 NKJV).
The word giants here is the Hebrew word nephil which can mean giants or the Nephilim. The exact meaning and understanding of these “giants” is unclear and the only description that can be associated is giant. But when you move further down the verse you find the meaning of the word to clarify itself with the statement, “mighty men who were of old, men of renown.”
The word old that is used here is olam which can mean a long time or even eternal depending on its placement. To put it straight the giants or Nephilim were beings that had extremely long lifespans, even compared to the men of that day, which could imply that the Nephilim lived for thousands of years at a time.
The next term to focus on is the word renown. This word in Hebrew is the word shem which means a mark or memorial of individuality or even a genius type of being. That being said these men were not human, but rather a superhuman type being. In respect the verse, it could read, “super humans who lived long lives, men of genius and authority.
Now let’s focus on the main subject at hand which are the sons of God themselves. The superhuman beings explained above were the offspring of the sons of God and the daughter of men, which means that they were not the offspring of Cain, but rather the fallen angels that followed Lucifer during the fall.
There is absolutely no way possible that mere men and women were baring children that stood 7 to 8 feet tall and that lived much longer than the average person during that time which was 800 to 900 years old by the way. A verse out of the book of 2 Peter speaks about this occasion.
“For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgement; and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly.” (2 Peter 4-5).
During Lucifer’s fall he managed to convince and drag a third of the angels with him. The book of Enoch speaks of such an intermingling of angels and women that bore super humans. The Sumerian text also speak of a time of rulers that were super human in strength, height and intelligence that ruled for periods of several thousand years at a time and thus could be speaking about the fallen angels and their offspring during the pre-flood times.
We must understand that this scenario is not too far fetched when reading the things and people within the Bible itself. We must also realize that these beings could have been the very reason we see some of the most remarkable structures in the world such as the pyramids, Stonehenge and other remarkable structures that are deemed impossible for ancient man to conceive, even posing extreme difficulty for our own modern intelligence and machinery to perform.
The word of God is forever fascinating and a great tool of study to further help explain history, life and God Himself as He reveals Himself through His word. Let’s keep exploring and going into the depths of the unknown while filled and protected by the Holy Spirit. Have a wonderful day and God bless!
Hustle and bustle is the tune we all hear on a constant basis day in and day out. People strive and climb the mountains of success and accomplishments with little rest between them. “You have to be a hustler!” Is the cry of the world as the desire for money and fame press hard against us. But with all the hustle and bustle the question remains, “Should Christians live the hustle and bustle lifestyle?” In short, no. Let me explain.
“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” (1 John 2:15 NKJV).
We are called as Christians to not love the world or the things in the world. Now many at this point begin to ask the question, “So, should Christians not have nice things?” Depends on how you look at it. Having nice things are a blessing from God, but if the things become an idle in our hearts and we love the blessings rather than the one who blesses, then the nice things are no good.
Enjoying things and loving things are two different things. We are called to praise the Lord for His blessings He bestows upon us. At the same time we are not to love these things, but rather simply enjoy them and utilize them to bring God glory. When we begin to love things we will ultimately begin to replace God with things. Simply put, have nice things, but love God.
Now at this point many of you are wondering what the heck does all this have to do with rest? I’m getting there, so bear with me a bit. We are called to not be like the world, but instead be a separate people unto the Lord. We are therefore called to be different from the world and being different means not partaking in the pattern that the world move about in.
Does this mean we shouldn’t work? Of course it doesn’t mean that. It means we shouldn’t over work and be busy bodies like the world. Does this mean we shouldn’t strive to succeed? Absolutely not! We should still seek to strive to be the best in Christ that we can be by following the calling of God upon our lives.
The difference between the world’s striving and Christian striving is that we strive by the pull of the Spirit and to please the Lord, while the world seeks to please themselves by the pull of their own fleshly desires. When we are living and walking in the Spirit we are then strengthened and empowered to pursue the will of God and enabled to succeed. We are also called to find time to rest and mediate and pray to Lord, and there we can find rest.
Another difference between the world’s way and the Christian way is the fact that the world is restless and adds more to their “to do” list enable to ease their minds from the anxious reality they live in. Christians are called to follow the path of God while being filled with the Holy Spirit who eases our minds and flows through us, directing us to things that the Lord has called us to do. Only when we begin to pursue more than what God has called us to do, do we become weary and restless.
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30).
The world is constantly on the go in order to “bypass” the reality of life and death. There is no rest apart from Christ and there is no rest without the Spirit working in our lives. Let us move with the Spirit and not move ahead or add more than what has been called upon our lives. Let us seek to please the Lord above all else and glorify Him through the blessings, talents and passions He has blessed us with.
The notion of a holographic universe has been around for quite some time now being first proposed by physicist Gerard ‘t Hooft, and then later given a more precise string theory interpretation by Leonard Susskind. The idea is that the entire universe is but a hologram or computer simulation, if you will, and everything we experience is controlled by some type of universal computer so to speak.
Many conventional theorist disregard this theory and of course many within the Christian community despise it as well. But is this theory truly that far fetched when compared to the Bible’s explanation of the universe we live in today? When you take a closer look at what the Bible says about the universe and heaven, it becomes apparent that the realm of reality we live in is but a dream, or illusion of the true reality that lies beyond our own.
Instead of a “universal computer” it is the Lord God and the realm of heaven that is controlling and simulating what we see and experience on earth and the surrounding vastness. Heaven in the Bible is not “up there,” but rather is explained as the unseen realm in which the things we see here are made up of.
“By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.” (Hebrews 11:3 NKJV).
Everything we see here are made up of things unseen and eternal, and when this idea is applied to the realm of science we see that it fits right in. In string theory the idea is that the universe is made up of 26 extra dimensions as well as tiny multi-dimensional vibrating strings that are present everywhere, all the time and that emit both light and sound waves that create the reality we see here.
Interesting enough is the fact that God is a multi-dimensional entity that is present everywhere, all the time and that spoke the universe into existence (sound) and He is pure light that was also part of creation itself. Replace strings with the Lord God and you have your answer and product for the universes make up. Extra dimensions themselves can also be explained and replaced as the realm of heaven in which the angels and demons do battle and work each day.
Paul and Peter both go on to show us that our universe is indeed only a simulate that is temporal and will ultimately go on to be deleted, and then later “rebooted” or “updated” so to speak.
“While we do not look at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:18).
“Looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heaves and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.” (2 Peter 3:12,13).
Now this sophisticated holographic universe is not quite as simple as a man made computer simulation by no means, and trying to fully comprehend the entirety of it, I believe, is completely out of man’s reach and rightly so. God has set each of us here primarily for our free will, our choice to choose between Him or the devil, between the new earth and heaven or hell.
But continuing on we see that the universe is indeed only an illusion of a much greater picture that is intertwined with our own and that is God Himself and the heavenly realm.
“For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.” (Colossians 1:16,17).
The notion “universal computer” is really God Himself and the heavenly realm. The holographic universe is the false reality we see that is perishing away and will be done away with completely one day. At this point a new heaven and earth (updated universe) will be programmed in and created.
Now as I said before the idea of programs, updates and hologram is not to be misunderstood as our limited human minds perceive in a computer sense, but is a much greater and more sophisticated deal that is done by the hands of God Himself and how this is achieved is beyond our capacity to comprehend.
The holographic universe theory is therefore a non conflicting idea of how the universe we perceive works and is. This theory is of course mere speculation and may never be fully known until we reach the realm of heaven and watch the Father at work Himself. But until then let’s keep serving the Lord and searching out His handiwork! God bless!
“The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork.” (Psalms 19:1).
